About Dr. Michael Dinh, O.D.
Doctor Dinh offers friendly, caring, and professional eye exams inside the Rohnert Park Costco. He opened his practice inside the Rohnert Park Costco when it first opened in 2002. Although he provides more than 3,000 eye exams a year, he prides himself in conducting each eye exam as if he was examining one of his family.
Doctor Dinh attended the University of California at Berkeley School of Optometry where he received an excellent optometry education. He later attended the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry where he learned to perform eye exams in fluent Spanish. There, he also gained vast experience in ocular disease. He examined patient populations with a high prevalence of cataracts, glaucoma, and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Dinh graduated valedictorian of his optometry class. During his optometry education, Dr. Dinh passed a rigorous examination in the treatment and management of ocular disease which allowed him to receive TPA certification. As a TPA-certified optometrist, he is able to write prescriptions for topical and oral medications that are related to the management of eye health conditions.
Doctor Dinh loves being an optometrist because he enjoys meeting different types of people every day. His main objective is to be an honest and caring eye care provider. He enjoys golf and travel. He has been happily married to his wife Van since 1997 and they are looking forward to the birth of their first child in October.
